Would Life Be Boring Without Celebrities?

Every time I go into a grocery store, mini mart, or any other of these types of stores I am bombarded with magazines, photos and articles about celebrities and their stories.  But instead of stories they usually consist of the mistakes they made or how much weight they have gained.

I personally don’t like looking at them because come on, we all have our flaws.  Even the rich and famous!

There must be people out there who are buying and reading these things because they are staying in business and continue to put out magazines week after week, month after month.  This then begs the question:  Would life be boring without celebrities and their scandals, mistakes, divorces and overall drama?

If more people paid attention to their lives and what’s going on around them instead of how much weight Britney Spears has gained then there might be some positive change on the planet.  These magazines usually have nothing good to say about anyone, so what kind of effect does it have on someone who reads it?  Not a very good one.

Stop buying these magazines and start living your life!  There, I said it, and now my rant is over.

Bad Economy? Who Says?

This post will probably bring you out of your Comfort Zone a little bit, get you to REALLY think about what’s going on around you and it might tread on a lot of people’s toes.  But here it goes.

Who says we’re in a “Bad Economy”?

The President?  The Treasurer?  Your Employer?  Your Neighbor?  Your Parents?

I Don’t Believe It!

I think that if enough people agree that we are in a recession or a depression…then we will be!  The government throwing buckets and buckets of money out to everybody isn’t going to solve the problem at all.  It will just inflate the dollar so much that our money will be worthless and a loaf of bread will cost $10 in 2 years.

What will solve the problem is EVERYBODY changing their viewpoint on Money, the Economy and the fact that money is not hard to make.  If you look around you, you will see a lot of businesses still operating like they were 3 years ago and there are people in your neighborhood who are not having problems with their jobs, their businesses or their ability to pay their bills.  There are even people still buying iPhones, home theater systems and cars!  This is because they pay no heed to the “Economic Crisis” and just go right along doing what they have been doing, successfully, for the last 3, 5, even 10 years!

Just buckle down, CONFRONT what you need to do in order to succeed, and DO IT!  You can get a part-time job or start your own small business or pull in money from somewhere and things will start to snowball.  Just do it and watch.

If you read this post then take a day, a month, or however long it will take you to change your viewpoints on the current situation and realy effect a change.  If everybody did this then we wouldn’t need to watch the government spend Trillions of dollars that we are going to have to end up paying back later.

Just give it a try.  That’s all I ask.

My 10USDMatrix Update

I want to put another quick post in here about my online business endeavors and more specifically, 10USDMatrx.com!  I now have 9 members in my downline, which means that my first two levels are almost filled.  I am very excited to see what is going to happen once 10USDMatrix finally launches on the 1st of May!

Computer Freaks is Exploding!

Today has been non-stop and I am still moving!  I am taking a couple minutes to put this post up, but then I’m following up on jobs, running around getting parts and coordinating with my business partner.

I got three jobs today and set them all up to be done in the next few days.  I am very excited about where this new company is going and the effects that it is going to create.  Tonight I am going to be working very hard to put order and organization into the business so I’m not running around like a chicken with its head cut off.  I want to control the business; not let the business control me. 

This kind of action makes me feel like I am really alive!  I have to go and rush around now, but I’ll have another post up soon.

Very Busy Day For The Computer Freaks

Today was insanely busy…which is very good!  My business partner and I got two jobs back to back and we just started promoting a couple of days ago!  I had a lot of other things going on and he had his regular day job, so we were scrambling around getting everything organized and getting out to the jobs and delivering really good service to the customers.  It was a lot of fun!

It was one of those days that makes me feel like I am ALIVE!  I really want to build Computer Freaks into a well-known, well-respected local company, that will be able to support me and any others I need to support.  I am at home now and I am very excited.  I just want to keep promoting, but most people are relaxing and it is considered rude by 98% of the population to bother them at 10:00 pm.  Too bad.

I am going to be passing out more of our flyers and business cards and putting up more ads online!  My partner and I just figured out how to convert our flyer to a complete image and upload the image onto Craigslist as an ad in itself!  This happened yesterday and it was quite a moment to celebrate for us. 

I am looking forward to being very busy, very productive and building a business that will be around, supporting me for a long time!  I hope I will be able to sleep…..

I have been testing and using quite a few different promotion techniques and websites this last week.  One of the best and most consistent ways to generate good, quality, free traffic is through LinkReferral.  I have been getting at least 20-40 unique hits a day for free using this site! 

How it works is you sign up for free and then LinkReferral gives you a link or a banner to take from their site and put onto your site or blog. 

Once this is done you put your link on their site and categorize it so others can start viewing it.  Every day you need to do these things in order to get a good number of unique hits to your website: 

1. View 30 Websites from other members of LinkReferral 
2. Leave 5 Reviews for other members critquing their websites 
3. Post one thing in the LinkReferral Forum 
4. Add on member’s site to your favorites list 

All of this takes me about 30 minutes per day and I see that I am getting good quality traffic!  Another plus for me is I get to read reviews that other people leave on my site so that I can make changes based on what the “general public” say.  It is a great tool to get a lot more hits in other advertising mediums.

Computer Freaks – My Offline Business

I am always seeing a lot of blogs that show people how to make money online or how to have a successful online business.  I am all for that, but I want to put in a little something about the business I am starting out in the real world.

It is called Computer Freaks, LLC, and I am very excited about it!  It is a computer service and repair business at Half The Cost!  I have the business all set up with the legal papers and the bank accounts.  My partner and I both have business cards, so now it is just time for the promotion!

We have just completed our flyer and price list and we are in the process of getting a bunch of copies and passing them around to various residences and businesses.

The thing I like best about this business is the unique idea I had regarding computer service and repair.  Instead of charging an exorbitant amount of money to come out and fix somebody’s computer we charge a low monthly fee and their computer is always protected, now matter what happens, or when.
